How to compress photos on iPhone (save space without deleting)
If you want to keep photos but reduce storage, compression can help — especially for older images where you don’t need full resolution. CleanPro supports photo compression with quality presets and estimated savings so you can choose the right trade-off.
Step 1: Delete duplicates before compressing
Duplicates are usually the best storage win. Remove repeats first with Duplicate Photos or follow the guide: delete duplicate photos.
Step 2: Compress photos you want to keep
Open Media Compression, choose photos, and select a quality preset. CleanPro shows progress and savings estimates.
Step 3: Review results
- Spot-check the compressed photos for quality (zoom in on details).
- If quality isn’t acceptable, use a higher preset next time.
