How to delete duplicate videos on iPhone (keep one preferred copy)
Duplicate videos happen after edits, transfers, downloads, or repeated shares. Removing repeats can free up significant storage, especially if the videos are long or recorded in high resolution. This guide shows a review-first cleanup plan using CleanPro.
Step 1: Scan for duplicate videos
Open Duplicate Videos in CleanPro and run a scan. It groups repeated clips so you can review them side-by-side.
Step 2: Keep your preferred version
In each duplicate group, pick the version you want to keep (best quality, the one with edits, the correct timestamp, etc.).
Step 3: Delete repeats safely
Select duplicates to delete and confirm. CleanPro is review-first — nothing is deleted without your confirmation.
Optional: compress instead of deleting
If you want to keep multiple videos but reduce file size, use Media Compression. Guide: compress videos on iPhone.
Tip: if you’re not sure where to start, use Large Videos to prioritize the biggest storage wins first.
