How to delete screenshots on iPhone (fast, safely)
Screenshots pile up fast: maps, receipts, message threads, “read later” captures. Cleaning them out is one of the easiest ways to reduce clutter (and sometimes save real storage). This guide shows a fast, review-first approach using CleanPro.
Before you delete: two quick safety notes
- If you use iCloud Photos, deletions sync across your Apple devices.
- On iOS, deletions typically go to Photos → Recently Deleted first.
Step 1: Use a screenshots gallery (don’t hunt manually)
Open Screenshots cleanup in CleanPro to view screenshots in a dedicated gallery. It’s faster than scrolling through your full camera roll.
Step 2: Sort to get bigger wins
If you want maximum storage savings, sort by largest first. If your goal is quick cleanup, sort by newest/oldest and move fast through time ranges.
Step 3: Preview and batch delete
Preview before deleting, then batch select what you don’t need. CleanPro is review-first — you decide exactly what goes.
Step 4: Confirm deletion (and restore if needed)
Confirm deletion when you’re confident. If you change your mind, restore items from iOS “Recently Deleted”.
Next: clean photos and videos too (optional)
- Near-duplicates: Similar Photos or guide: Delete similar photos.
- Exact duplicates: Delete duplicate photos.
- Big wins: Find large videos or compress videos.
